EnderFall app
VN Editor
Create branching visual novels and living worlds with visual story tools, modular UI, shared animation and a version-management Hub.

Download for Windows
Windows 10 / 11 - 64-bit
Install the Hub, then choose an editor version. Keep several versions installed and open projects with their pinned version.
The Hub downloads editors from a signed catalogue. No Rust installation is required.
Meet VN Editor
Build visual novels and location-based life-simulation games in one dedicated workspace. Write dialogue, connect choices and consequences, design your own menus and try the result using the same runtime as the exported game.
The Unity-inspired layout combines Hierarchy, Project and Inspector panels with Scene, Story, Script, UI Designer, World and Animator workspaces.
Stories that shape the world
Author dialogue, choices, requirements and consequences through visual tools or the canonical script. Use the branch map to follow routes and carry character, inventory and world values between scenes.
Play, save/load and roll back while testing. Windows game exports use the shared runtime.
Bring your interface to life
Build menus from text, images, shapes, layouts and modular components. Adjust anchors, scaling, sprite-sheet regions and nine-slice borders. Add converted video or animate UI and scene objects with reusable clips.
Choose editable fades, slides, wipes and zooms. Background image look-ahead and asset-ready handoffs keep scenes complete while loading.
Your creative workspace
Compose screens using Rect Transform and a Component Inspector. Combine groups, layouts, images, text, shapes, animation and video, with templates for menus and game controls.
Connect locations, activities, relationships and variables to story choices. Current tools include item/inventory and quest definitions, with richer equipment, event and persistent collection systems still planned.
The Hub creates and opens projects and installs editor versions. Projects retain a version pin so adopting a new editor is a deliberate choice. Hub/editor share theme preferences.
Editable save/load, settings and history screens use the shared runtime. Players can adjust text reveal speed and reading delay, use Auto, or skip previously read dialogue.
Get started with VN Editor
- Download and install the Hub.
- Install the preview editor and create a project.
- Open Story to edit dialogue and choices.
- Press Play, then customise scenes and screens.
- Use Build Windows to export into a new folder.
Open UI Designer, create a game screen and add objects. Use the Inspector to attach components and edit placement, styles and actions. Preview the same screen in the game runtime.
Install another editor version in the Hub while keeping the version your project already uses. Back up the project before deliberately changing its version pin.
The current preview includes the Free launch splash. The proposed model allows free commercial games with branding, plus perpetual Pro licences to remove branding with 12 months of updates. Pro entitlements and final pricing are not enabled yet.
